The TVS Apache needs some introduction since its new and one of the preferred 150cc bikes. It has a 160cc engine which works perfect on any terrain. The new model which is the RTR is one of the advanced till date in the entire Apache bikes. One of the best features of the Apache is its light weight chassis. It helps in throttling the bike to the three digit mark in no time. You might get a jerk when crossing more than 100kmph. Rocket size performance is delivered when the throttle is pinned. The Pulsar on the other hand is bigger than the Apache. For those who have a height problem the Apache is the best option. New colors are also been revealed which make the Apache invincible.
Speed, speed and more speed
If speed is on your menu list the Apache matches all the ingredients which can give a boost to your taste buds. The Apache is light in weight and has a powerful engine which is boosted when the throttle is pinned. The sudden flow of adrenaline is felt when you are power shifting the vehicle. The 160 version touches a top whack of 120kmph. on the other side the Pulsar does 110kmph after lot of pinning. Red line gear change at perfect shifts takes the bike to unmatched pick up.

Balancing act
The Apache is bit short in size which makes it uncomfortable for the rider and the pillion. The need of speed is not shown as the Apache is bit short and very uncomfortable. If you are looking for a bike which can be taken for long tours then this is not the right option to rely on. The Apache will straightly include a back ache in your trip list. On the other hand the Pulsar 150cc is very comfortable. If you are looking for short or long rides the 150ccBajaj Pulsar ensures that you have a good time. The Apache is light weighted which is an added advantage to those who cannot ride a heavy bike.

Mileage
Both the bikes perform well on tarmac or on rough gravel. The Apache delivers an average of 55 to 60kmpl which is quite decent. The Pulsar is quite same when it comes to economy. Bit of red line gear change there is a considerable drop in both the bikes. The difference is seen immediately and the economy of both the bikes is affected.

Time to go to ATM
This is a tough choice as these bikes are designed for speed and comfort is the second option. If you are looking for a bike which can handle good speed and has decent looks the best option is the Apache. But if you don’t want speed but some looks and sturdy feel thePulsar outruns the Apache. The Pulsar is heavy and quite sturdy. Another feature of thePulsar is that it neither looks puny nor weak. Maintenance wise the Pulsar is less on pocket. The new model of the Pulsar looks stunning and appealing to the eyes. The look of 200 is given which ensures your bike’s fantasy is solved.

Bajaj has gives us some incredible bikes and one of them is Bajaj pulsar 150 cc which is a perfect blend of looks and power. Its aerodynamic shape turns it into cheetah on the rough and broken Indian roads.
ReplyDeletepulsar 150 mileage
Both bikes have great specifications and features but I personally like Bajaj pulsar 150.
ReplyDeleteWhile riding Apache 160 above 100 kmph, it feels like Earthquake. You will definitely fear to ride.
ReplyDeleteIn my experience pulsar feels steady and neat above 100 kmph.
I can see many of my friends having this bike they are getting the mileage of 60kmpl but for this, you have to drive bike carefully and maintain speed around 60 to 80 and don't accelerate too much then this is possible to get good mileage overall this one is better in mileage which can afford anyone.
